Nov 17th, 2013 Letter from Superintendent Removed from Website and new letter sent out Nov 22nd, 2013

The following letter was sent out via email to the MHS/ JC community from the superintendent after a Sunday Task Force Meeting on Nov 17th, 2013. Mark Katchen present result data from the PCB air testing to the task force. The task force was not given the raw data to see the results for themselves. This letter was then taken off the SMMUSD website on Monday, Nov 18th, 2013 after the superintendent became aware that the PCB caulk and wipe test results were higher than the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA) deemed safe. The superintendent then contacted the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

The second letter was sent out on Nov 22, 2013 after the superintendent saw all the PCB test results and consulted with the EPA and other government agencies.
